Every plan includes a phone (VoIP) number at no extra cost — port your existing number over for free, or we'll give you a new one. Calls are pay-as-you-go, or add unlimited calling for $10 a month.

International mobiles and other destinations are charged at standard VoIP rates. The phone service runs over your broadband, so it won't work in a power or network outage — including calls to 000. See our service terms.

Free number porting, no setup fee

Every plan above NBN 50/20 needs an FTTP or eligible HFC connection. On FTTN, FTTB or FTTC you can still get NBN 50/20 — and if nbn lists your address as eligible, ordering a faster plan is what starts a free upgrade to full fibre and opens up the rest (the NBN 2000 tiers excepted). While nbn builds it you stay on your existing line, up to around 100 Mbps, and your plan's normal price applies from the day we connect you, not from the day the fibre lands. A modem from us is included in the price, not free. It adds nothing to your monthly bill — we credit its cost over 24 months while your service is active, and after that it's yours. Cancel earlier and you either post it back in working order or pay out the balance, your choice. Use your own modem and none of this applies. The full wording.
